Triathlon Training with Purpose

The Triathlon Training with Purpose Presentation offers insights from Trismarter Head Coach, Lee Gardner on how to focus your triathlon training into a personalized plan that will optimize your return on investment and help you meet your training and racing goals.

Included in the presentation is a sample set of specific workouts for each discipline in triathlon that can be tailored to athletes of all abilities, and applied to various distances of triathlon from Sprint to Ironman. Coach Lee will discuss how to use these workouts to help build race specific fitness, as well as how to use the workouts for benchmarking progress. Athletes are encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation.

Following the discussion, athletes will participate in a triathlon brick workout specifically designed for the Myrtle Beach Triathlon Club that will utilize the overall approach of Coach Lee’s presentation.

A post-workout lunch with Coach Lee will afford additional opportunities for question and answer.

Here is a sample of a structured workout that is planned for us. We will be using the hill loop around Ruth’s Chris for the run and the Dunes boulevard for the bike.
