5k Trail run results

Congratulations to all the athletes that took the 5k trail challenge. This was no ordinary 5k. They had to endure a difficult mix terrain that constantly kept them on their toes. The toughest was the 30 foot climb that had them clawing their way up. The 2nd toughest was the run across the desert. This area is made up of very soft sand. They had to run uphill for at least 30 feet then run 400 yards before they would find solid ground again. The 3rd toughest obstacle for the runners were all the hills. As soon as they climb one hill they had to turn and run down another. The course was always turning left, right, up and down that made the runners feel like they were in a mouse trap.

Looks like Peter Cottontail changed his name to Jonathon Kinsey because he hopped through this course in a record time!!
